Grounded in Denver, CO, I've traded my tools in as a diesel engine and electrical diagnostic technician for the dynamic world of web development. The core remains the same: diagnosing problems and crafting solutions. Whether I'm diagnosing an engine or debugging a block of code, it's the thrill of the chase and the joy of the discovery that drives me. In the realm of software, I take pride in building experiences that resonate with users. Off the clock, my pursuits shift outside. You might catch me on the golf course, snowboarding/skiing the Front Range, Playing Pickle Ball or exploring Colorado's scenic terrain with my two dogs.
After careful consideration, I enrolled in the intensive coding bootcamp at Coding Dojo. Throughout this rigorous program, I became proficient in multiple programming languages, including Python, JavaScript, and Java. My skill set expanded to include various frameworks and tools such as Node.js, React, Flask, Django, JQuery, and JavaSpring. I also deepened my understanding of databases, mastering both MySQL and NoSQL. Over the 16-week period, I became well-versed in three major technology stacks, the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js), Java stack (Java-Spring Boot-MySQL) and Python stack (Django, MySQL, Ajax). This immersive experience has equipped me with a robust set of skills, enabling me to tackle diverse software development challenges.
